Hub courses might require an enrollment key for one of two reasons: 1) the course has a prerequisite or 2) we need to verify some information before we can let you in to the course. However, most courses do not require an enrollment key.
To determine which scenario applies to the course in question, start by re-reading the course description. If you haven’t already, start by locating the course. Then either click on the title of the course or the “i” button to the right of the title to expand the description. In the description, you will either see which course is listed as a prerequisite or the name and contact information for who you need to contact to request the enrollment key. If there is no information about an enrollment key, but you are still having trouble enrolling, visit this article for more information.
One common prerequisite is Introduction to Foundational Skills and Montana Content Standards. The enrollment key, which is found at the end of the course (below the Evaluation), unlocks the next four courses in the series: Print Concepts, Phonological Awareness, Phonics and Word Recognition, and Fluency. Note: the same enrollment key works for all of the Foundational Skills courses.
